It didn’t take long for iPhone Dev Team to jailbreak iOS 5 final release. Unfortunately this is a tethered jailbreak you will have to connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad to your computer when the device reboots due to low battery or other factors. No worries, I’m sure iPhone Dev Team is working on iOS to release its untethered jailbreak version. Now, first of all I have to remind you all iOS device holders that this redsn0w jailbreak works on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 CDMA & GSM, iPod touch 3rd & 4th gen, and iPad 1 which means that redsn0w can be runned on devices with A4 processors. If you have iPhone 4S or iPad 2, devices with A5 processors, this ios 5 jailbreak wor’t work, so don’t waste your time trying to install iOS 5 jailbreak on these Apple devices and wait until holy iPhone Dev Team solves the puzzle of A5 processors. Woah, let’s jailbreak iOS 5 now !.

It will say that the device is about to enter the DFU Mode.
