How to factory reset a Samsung Galaxy Phone?

If Your Android Phone is Frozen or Forgot Your Security PassCode/Pettern, The Only One You Can Do Is Factory Reset.
  1. Turn the power off. If your Samsung Galaxy S is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Volume Down button 
  3. Press and release the Power button
  4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastboot, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock 
  5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button 
  6. Press and release the Power button 
  7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO 
If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Samsung Galaxy S. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

1. Power off. Hold volume UP and power button and home button simultaneously. release home button (and press again) while still holding volume up and power button. A boot up screen will pop up. Use volume keys to select (reset and restore) press home button to select.

2.Once reset and the phone starts up again it will still show locked. Get another phone to call your phone. As soon as you swipe answer press back key (arrow key) (you gotta be quick) and the main home screen will come up!!!. press the left menu button and select settings and turn off pattern code then go to menu and factory reset the phone again.
