Programs you do not use, can still slow down your PC

Many of the things that slow down a computer boil down to the same single cause: Too many things running at once. If you have programs loaded that you seldom use or do not need, un-install them.
HINT: If you switched from AOL to another provider (Like Comcast), you do not need any of the AOL programs, EVEN if you still use an @aol.com email address. PLUS, If you see any mention of ADDITIONAL security software (other than what you are currently using) You can remove that too.
