Programs you do not use, can still slow down your PC

Many of the things that slow down a computer boil down to the same single cause: Too many things running at once. If you have programs loaded that you seldom use or do not need, un-install them.
HINT: If you switched from AOL to another provider (Like Comcast), you do not need any of the AOL programs, EVEN if you still use an email address. PLUS, If you see any mention of ADDITIONAL security software (other than what you are currently using) You can remove that too.
